About noor city municipality

Noor Municipality was established in 1954. Since June 2007, Mr. Jabbar Faraji an Architecture and Urban Planning and Development educated has been appointed as the Mayor of Noor by the City Council.

According to article 7 of the Iranian Constitution, the local councils together with the Parliament are "decision-making and administrative organs of the State". The councils are in charge of electing mayors, supervising the activities of municipalities; study of social, cultural, educational, health, economic, and welfare requirements of their constituencies; the planning and coordination of national participation in the implementation of social, economic, construction, cultural, educational and other welfare affairs.

Noor Municipality has got this vision to promote the city to top Iranian Islamic city of the third millennium.

All investors are always welcomed by the municipality for many tourism, infrastructures and urban development projects.

Noor Municipality welcomes and has been supportive to all local NGOs for social, cultural, educational and welfare affairs.
